About the Area/Nearby Attractions

There are some restaurants within walking distance (around 15 minutes) and a mini market . There is tennis and a gym at The Club de Sol and for golf there is the Siesta Golf Club too. There are also restaurants in the clubs. There is an open train bus which comes every half an hour and brings you around the locality for a small charge of around 1 euro per person. Calahonda is a favourite destination for many holidaymakers. It has a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes including internet cafes. There are numerous attractions for children along this coast which include water parks at Torremolinos and Fuengirola, Go-Kart tracks, Amusement parks, Sea Life Centre, Zoo in Fuengirola, Mini Golf, horseriding plus lots, lots more ! Less than a 10 minute drive from the property you reach the bustling port of Cabopino. There are some excellent restaurants here which cater for all different tastes and some lovely bars where you can order a jug of sangria and just watch the world pass by. The beach area is fantastic with miles upon miles of golden sands dotted with beach bars serving fresh fish, snacks and beverages. You can hire sun loungers at most of the beach bars which are very cheap and there is an excellent array of watersports to tempt you from jet-sking, snorkelling to paragliding! |
